The directors of
Loadtec have been engaged in the manufacture of stretch cord and
Octopus straps since 1992 originally to hold down Jerry Cans in the
sides of Off Road camping trailers.
Not only to be chemical and
fuel resistant but have a reasonable life expectancy when exposed
to the Ultra Violet radiation of the Australian sun. Imported
products were inferior and some lasted less than 6 months and
never more than 12 months and during that period had rapidly
deteriorating performance, increasing the risk to users. Some of
the original stretch cords we manufactured in the early 90's are still
performing today. What has changed is the patented "cincher" technology
making the end pieces more versatile, easier to use and safer. The
technology has enable adjustment of the cord in the end pieces using a single cincher, or a double cincher and triple cinchers
to retain the stretch cord. Another important component is
the elasticity of stretch cord is controlled by the robust outer casing
to carry the load and the user can easily engage and disengage the cord in the device. |
